Role Description:

We are looking for a passionate Test engineer (Fresher) for designing and implementing the tests that ensure the quality and the functionality of a product.

Job Description

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Basic understanding of software development and testing processes.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Basic knowledge of any programming language (preferred but not mandatory).

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.

Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the field of software testing.

Execute manual test cases and report defects.

Understand and analyse requirements and specifications.

Create, update, and maintain detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.

Identify, record, document, and track bugs.

Collaborate with the development team to understand the functionality and troubleshoot issues.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Assist in preparing test reports and metrics.
