Android 15 is finally here, and we’re all geared up for it! With new feature releases and enhancements, Android 15 provides system-wide improvements in privacy, device security, and end-user experience. How SureMDM empowers IT admins managing devices running on Android 15? 

With the launch of Android 15, SureMDM will offer full compatibility with both modes of management - Google Play EMM API and Android Management API, providing existing customers with a seamless experience when upgrading to Android 15. 

For Android Management API, SureMDM provides IT admins the capability to configure the following features:

1. Circle to Search:

   IT admins can now enable/disable the ‘Circle to Search’ feature on Android devices. ‘Circle to Search’ is a feature which allows users to quickly search for anything on their phone (without switching apps) by performing a gesture. 

2. Use Scanning For Deceptive Apps:

   Admins can now leverage the ‘Use Scanning for Deceptive Apps’ feature to enhance device and data security. The ‘Use Scanning for Deceptive Apps’ feature enhances device security by detecting and safeguarding users from potentially harmful applications, particularly applications that might exhibit deceptive behavior. Once activated, this feature will check app activity for signs of phishing or deceptive behavior.

3. Screen Brightness Mode:

   IT admins can now configure the ‘Screen brightness’ mode to automatically adjust the screen brightness, depending on ambient light preferences or user preferences. 

4. Screen Timeout Mode:

   IT admins can now configure device screens to automatically switch off after a period of inactivity.
